We will start by offering oil field solid waste disposal, which is the biggest need in Southeast Saskatchewan. Liquid waste disposal will not be offered as this is being adequately served.
Our goal is to start receiving waste sometime during the fall of 2026.
We are planning to locate our site in the area around Carlyle. Currently, trucks are passing through this area to drive over 85km away to the closest landfill near Stoughton. There is a huge need for additional landfill space in this part of SE Saskatchewan.
The entire process is tightly regulated by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment (MOE) and includes having to generate environmental and community impact studies, a professionally engineering and sealed disposal pit, and a detailed closure plan.
